Sworn in on January 1, 2019, she made history as the first African American woman elected to a Pulaski County-wide executive position. Her dedication and service were recognized when she was reelected to a second term in 2022.

Ms. Hollingsworth has experience in management positions within the public and private sectors and nonprofit organizations. She began her career as a city planner for the City of Little Rock and later served as the city’s economic development administrator. Additionally, she worked for the Arkansas Secretary of State and was the Director of the State Board of Election Commissioners.

In 2012, Ms. Hollingsworth served as the Chief Administrative Officer at the Delta Regional Authority. She oversaw the federal agency’s daily operations, staff supervision, and operational management of board members, elected officials, and stakeholders. Before the 2018 election, she served as a senior advisor for business strategy at Peter Damon Group, a national strategic public affairs firm. In 2023, the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center honored her as one of the top 15 Trailblazers.
